When the disciples asked Jesus: “What will be the sign of your coming, and end of the world?” Jesus’ response was simple: “But as it were in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the coming of the Son of man.” (Matthew 24:37). Jesus says, if you want to know the signs of my coming, study the days of Noah before the flood. When conditions which existed before the flood are repeated, then know that the end is near.

Unfortunately, many Christians today are gradually considering the story of Noah and a world wide flood as merely an allegory for God’s judgment and not an actual event. They don’t consider the fact that Jesus referred to the great flood as a real event in Matthew 24:37. Most Christians don’t know, however, the massive amount of evidence for a great flood. The movie was shot in over a dozen countries and shows just some of the most incredible anthropological, archeological, geological and paleontological evidence you could ever imagine.

“The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.” Gen. 6:11-12

If the story of Noah is undermined, then the credibility of the rest of the Bible is undermined, including our faith and salvation. The teaching of evolution is the attempt to undermine God’s creation and judgment through a flood. Ultimately, it teaches the earth is billions of years old and was not created in accordance to the story of Genesis. It’s the doctrine of death. It’s no surprise that Eric Harris, one of the shooters of the Columbine School massacre, wrote in his journal his admiration of what he imagined to be natural selection and wrote that he would like to put everyone in a super Doom game and see to it that the weak die and the strong live. On the day of the massacre, Harris wore a white T-shirt with the words “NATURAL SELECTION” printed in black. The teenage boys performed the school shooting on Hitler’s birthday. Why should we be surprised our schools are filled with violence when we teach children the doctrine of death?

Hitler was also a follower of Evolution. When he wrote Mein Kampf, Hitler used the German word for evolution (Entwicklung) many times, citing “lower human types.” He criticized the Jews for bringing “Negroes into the Rhineland” with the aim of “ruining the white race by the necessarily resulting bastardization.” He spoke of “Monstrosities halfway between man and ape” and lamented the fact of Christians going to “Central Africa” to set up “Negro missions,” resulting in the turning of “healthy . . . human beings into a rotten brood of bastards.”

An important argument that Hitler used to support his programs of racial genocide of the Jews, Blacks and other groups was that they were genetically “inferior” and that their interbreeding with the superior Aryan race would adversely affect the latter’s gene pool, polluting it, and lowering the overall quality of the “pure race”.

Charles Darwin, the founder of evolution wrote his most famous work entitled, “On the Origin of Species.” At least this is the title most of us have heard many times. But, the real title of his book is much longer: “On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life.”

Ark Hunter goes further than challenging the lies of evolution. The movie seeks to shed light on the great flood of Noah during our not so distant past and also demonstrate the mercy and compassion God had for Noah, the only righteous and obedient man remaining.

Movies are very much like modern-day parables. Jesus used stories to teach spiritual principles to his disciples and followers. The purpose of “Ark Hunter” is to put the story of Noah and the great flood in an exciting, modern approach that engages the viewer and takes them on an emotional journey.

A study was conducted on the major influential factors in our culture today. The top three most influential factors in our culture are film, television and the Internet. The church isn’t even in the top 10! This is why Ark Hunter is so important. The movie helps to reaffirm our faith and defend his word, which at one point defined us as a nation and was the cornerstone of our country. Ultimately, Ark Hunter is a patriotic endeavor to reach the lost and ultimately change the culture. Changing a nation doesn’t start with politics, it starts with the heart of the people.
